SKILLS & ABILITIES

• enhanced intelligence -- Though already extremely smart, Takeru also has a kind of super intelligence. His mind can process information so quickly that he often knows how someone will move or what someone will say before they even initiate movement or speech. He takes in details and then pieces them together, able to actually focus on several things at once if he isn't bothered or distracted. This quick, analytical mind is his most powerful weapon, though it also has the potential to be his downfall. After all, if it is overwhelmed with information or distracted with emotion, he is easily set into a state of mental instability. The nature of his insanity completely takes over if someone knows how to pluck at his nerves just right, leaving him in a much more vulnerable state where he can't even control himself.

• enhanced speed -- While demons and hunters are naturally more agile, Takeru takes it to a few more levels. Though not lightning-quick, he is able to move extremely fast, like a flickering shadow. He has a habit of appearing behind people without them even noticing, as quiet on his feet as he is light. He will often lure prey into a false sense of security by acting languid or unhurried, and then turn on a dime and attack with deadly speed.

• a simple, but trusty XD-45 handgun, which he usually carries somewhere on him at all times.

• a scythe, "azrael" -- Yes, a rather unconventional weapon, but he has grown fond of using it to personally dispose of those he thinks need to be eliminated for the sake of the world's progression into paradise. It is a long, elegant weapon, but wielded with mastery he must have taught himself. It is usually only kept on his person when he's hunting for prey due to it's large size, but it is his favored 'tool of the trade.' It is named after the 'angel of death,' and rightly so.

HEALTH/ILLNESS PROBLEMS

• antisocial personality disorder -- Such is a disorder usually connected with "sociopaths," and Takeru is, in every sense of the word, a sociopath. He is incapable of remorse, using people only as pawns and never directly connecting with anyone. He is narcissistic and does not believe that any rules or laws apply to him, which is rather hypocritical of him considering his own obssession with justice. He considers himself absolutely superior to everyone else; a god among men. Other symptoms of this disorder, however, also include reckless and impulsive behavior as well as aggression and violence. Though he may come off as calm and collected, when certain words or actions trigger certain emotions, he can become extremely impulsive and violent. He is also very paranoid, even when he appears completely at ease. Everything becomes more apparent whenever he suffers a psychotic break, shedding his calm composure and revealing his true self, absolutely insane and obssessive over eliminating criminals to create a new world that, in his head, is the ultimate utopia over which he is God.
