General Rules 1.] When you register as a member here, you commit yourself to being active and a friendly user. A member should always go by Probroads TOS and follow our own rules. You should be active--we encourage members to be on at least one a day, every so days a week. Those who cannot keep active or think they cannot keep active should not join. If we find that you are not active we will allow you one chance before we post an activity check. If you haven't post in it, then your account is deleted. Feel free to make another account and all your other characters. This is site is also rated PG 13+ (more likely NC 17+ but we'd like to keep it at PG 13+) for gore, violence, drug usage, sexual behaviors and the usual, so please do not join if you feel like you will not be able to handle such things.
2.] Please stay away from excessively cursing on the boards--in the out of character areas or in the actual roleplay. We won't mind a 'damn' or 'what the fuck' occasionally but if it gets out of hand the staff will be involved.
3.] We advise members to stay away from double posting and spamming. Double posting is when you post immediately or after a short amount of time in a thread where you have just posted--this is not acceptable. Proboards offers us the gift known as the edit/modify button on posts which allows the members to edit the post as needed. We ask of you to use that. Spam is when a person repeatedly sends messages or posts something that has nothing to do with anything and just gibberish. We ask that you do not that, for we will ban you for the rest of your life and will not allow you to come back. (Yes, we can do that.)
4.] We obviously allow members the use of avatars and signatures. The staff suggests that you use an avatar of your character and have a signature--it just makes the profile more interesting. Do not have a signature that stretches the page or you will be asked to remove it. If, for some reason, you cannot find an avatar or signature of your play by then please feel free to ask someone to make one for you. Request someone at the GFX board and they may offer you one. But if you have experience in photoshop, gimp or any programs like that then you should be able to make one for yourself if not for another pesron.
5.] Please, please do not ask us staff members if you can be staff. This annoys us greatly and will just make us think you are not staff-worthy. We will ask for more members if appropriate, but we think heavily on this decision for we would like the best of the best to part of our staff. People who have experience in certain areas such as graphics and coding are very much needed--then again, the current staff members could always learn.

Profile & Character Rules 1.] You must have a Face Claim -- we do not allow original art. Face Claims are play bys of people's characters, who are characters from another series. We also would like to advise you to reserve a face claim if possible, because there are many, many characters that are in high demand, we would appreciate if you would so kindly post in the face claim thread -- so we don't get any arguments and stuff like that. We will not allow anyone to use actual, real life celebrities for face claims -- we're an anime/manga forum so you're face claims has to be from a series that is anime or manga or related to such.. You don't expect to see celeb. pictures here, and on high school/uni forums you don't expect to see anime characters here. Got it?
2.] You are allowed multiple characters on GOODBYE INNOCENCE, but they are all must be kept on different account only. For example, you want to make a new character -- that's great, but you have to make another account separate to your first character's account.
3.] Please wait to be accepted when posting a profile. The staff may be busy with other things such as their outside lives, forum-wide events or staff-related things and may not have the time to look at it right away just as it was finished. If, for some reason we do not see your profile and had not looked over it yet you may remind the staff one time.
4.] Post your profiles in the appropriate boards that were made in the character registration boards. If your profile is not yet done, it goes in the WIP Board. If you want your profile move, simply let a staff member know. If your profile has been reviewed but you have changes to make, your profile will be moved to the Revisions board, where you have three days to edit it. If a profile is approved, it's moved to the appropriate approved character board. Otherwise, all other profiles that are dead or inactive are moved to the Character Archive.

Role Play Rules 1.] All in character posts should be at least over two hundred and fifty (250) words all the time. We are a very literate place and we feel that our members should be literate role players as well. We will not accept posts that are one-liners or three-liners for that is just a little bit of one fourth of an actual role-play post. If you are stuck, then think of your character's emotions, movements, dialogue and all those things that you would use to write in a story. We do understand, however, if you get writer's block or run out of muse but that doesn't mean you’re writer's block or you being out of muse excuse will work all the time. We will know if you are lying or not--this will result in one warning.
2.] Posts should be in third person, past tense. This is because it is just the basics of role-playing. Third person role-playing is using words such as 'They, Them, He, She' and etc and should be in past tense--such as, looks would be looked and hears should be heard.
Example 1: Kouichi looks over his shoulder, and sees his friend and waves at him. Example 2: I look over my shoulder, watching for my friend to wave at me.
In example 1, there is present tense when there is suppose to be past tense. We will not allow that. In example 2 there is first person with a bit of present tense. This will not be tolerated either.
3.] When posting in a role-play thread, please be courteous and add things in the title such as [open], [closed] [for -name- and -name-]. This is to allow members to know who is allowed to post and who isn't allowed. When thread says it is open, it means anyone can post. If it says it is closed and has names next to it, then it means that only that person can post in that thread. Please also put a rating in the thread if it contains any sexual, gore or violent scenes so that our members will not look at it and be disgusted with themselves. We have younger members on this board and we do not want to get in trouble with showing them graphic scenes. Putting this like [M] in the thread title, as well as putting a warning in the first post would be helpful.
Extension:
[/u] If a thread you are in does contain some Mature themes, such as sex, nudity, and all the likes, then please make sure you really, really do place a warning somewhere in the first post and in the title of the thread. I don't really mind it, and I don't really think it should be explicit, but if a thread contains it, please put a rating. 4.] As always, there is no godmodding or powerplaying allowed at all--which means no super-super-duper-strong attacks and one hit KOs or controlling another person's character. If the staff catches any of that then you will receive one warning and we will tell you to redo your post. 5.] We do allow members to role play in liquid time--which means you can be in more than one thread. However, please try to refrain from being in so many threads that you cannot keep up with. If they get inactive or go dead they are moved to the archive so that the boards aren't cluttered up with old threads. If, for some reason, you feel the need to post in that thread still to make up for your lack of a post in it, you can tell a staff member to move it back to the appropriate board.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

CBOX RULES 1.] Please keep away from using text language--i.e. wh@ts up y0 or liek omg dude u no wut because it just means you're too lazy to write out full, complete and sensible sentences. It's fine once in a while, but all the time will not be tolerated.
2. Do not post any links to images or sites that contian pornography or anything inappropriate. Anything of such, you will be banned. We're not perverts--you may be, but major amounts of ecch and hentai are just not cool.
3.] Cbox Icons/Avatars may either be 100 x100, 50 x 50 or 45 x 45. To put an avatar/icon next to your name, go to the Email/Url field box next to your name and then paste your link of the icon/avatar there. When you type a message, the image should be there.
4.] If there are guests in the cbox, help them if they need help. The staff may be busy sometimes or not on when a guest is, so if you're just a regular member, help them as best as you can. Don't ignore them or be mean to them.
5.] No double-posting in the cbox--and don't spam it either. If you don't know what spam is, it stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages.
6.] Don't impersonate others, and do not copy their icons. Because that's just not cool. You don't want someone else impersonating you or your icon, right? Treat others with respect.
7.] Have fun in the cbox! It's there for a reason! If you don't behave, it'll be taken away and that would be no fun, right?
