THE RACES, This is the guide to the three main races of GOODBYE INNOCENCE that now are inhabiting the world. Please make sure to read the information thoroughly before or while making your character and to refer back to this thread when you need too. HUMAN, Humans are self-explainable. They are the creatures who had already inhabited the earth for centuries and centuries, from cavemen from what we call now modern man. The race have no type of powers or special abilities at all, no special qualities and they are completely bland and normal. However, mankind is at the top of the food chain and have been the people to advance technology this far.

HUNTER, Hunters are humanoid creatures who are born with small special abilities/powers and created by a scientist almost 5-6 decades ago named "The Collector". They walk the very ground regular humans walk on, however they are abnormal if looken closely at. To tell a Human and a Hunter apart, one must merely look at the shadow of each. A Human has a shadow, but a Hunter's shadow is deformed and appears to be that of mist and faded. Special abilities of Hunters include that of the manipulation of elements (to an extent), enhanced senses, or other special abilities one may find from comic books.
The sole purpose of Hunters is to simply hunt. And to hunt what, you may ask? Demons. The Demons who walk the earth are sought out by the Hunters and exterminated; that is their only sole purpose in life. Although all Hunters have nearly the name purpose in life, they usually don't do well with working together and have their own goals and ideals in hand depending on the Hunter. Each Hunter hunts demons, but all Hunters hunt and exterminate Demons for different reasons and/or different ways. This is called "The Mission" and something Hunters always abide to when in doubt.
Hunters are born fighters, and are physically and perhaps even mentally strong. Most of the time, they already know their true strength ut there are also cases where a Hunter will not know his/her true potential until a certain age later in their life. Whether this may be days, weeks, months, or even years, it varies from Hunter to Hunter. Hunters can live for very long time, but they are not immortal -- how long they can live is unknown but can die for the simplest of things just like humans.

DEMON, Demons are creatures who lurk in the shadows of earth, appearing in humanoid form to take the lives of Humans and Hunters. The Demons were created by a scientist as well, known as the "Corspe Enchanter". Demons are generally conceiving and born tricksters, luring in their prey for their next meal. A Demon has no shadow, and therefore can be told apart from a Hunter and a Human.
Demons, just like Hunters, have special abilities and powers to an extent. Special abilities such as the manipulation of elements, enhanced senses, mental abilities and the such are all common with the race. They are also known to be very good negotiaters and deceivers; lying is in their blood and shown in their eyes. They feast on the lives of Humans and Hunters but may also consume regular human food.
The race of Demons are the sole enemies of Hunters, and the two races fight almost constantly. The Demons eat, the Hunters hunt and exterminate them like pests. The only sole purpose to a Demon's life is to live and blend in with the rest of the races so that they may thrive on the flesh of others; which may seem like an easy task but it really isn't. A Demon, like the Hunter, can live for a long, long time but can die from the simplest of things. Their total lifespan is unknown.
