you came into my life and i thought, hey --
you know this could be something
from what her manager, benjiro-han, had said before her flight -- asamoya of the kougi region was indeed very misty. it was quite the thing to experience, hikari noted, as she woke up to find her bedside window covered with mist and could see nothing out of it. she narrowed her tired eyes, and yawns quietly. was there a point to add in windows to a building when a person knew that they could never see out of that window due to the fog? the builder might as well had left it out during construction -- it slightly bothered hikari, the princess of the seisatsunoza family, but she dismissed this thought as she swung her feet around her bed and plodded them onto the wooden floor. hikari was out of her home region for the time being -- banteki -- and in kougi for a few musical recitals and parties and the best of all -- business meetings.
she roled her blue eyes at the thought, and chuckled lowly to herself. business meetings were never fun; but she would enjoy her stay at kougi; a decision she made quite a few times before even starting to pack for the tip. in kougi was her favorite person in the whole world -- the one person hikari had shown sincere feelings for once in he life. a lovely blonde woman with strikingly ind amethyst eyes. the sheer warmth of the thought -- the image that came to her mind -- was so sublime and beautiful she almost melted right then and there. to say the least, this other person, whom hikari admired, was the sun -- whereas hikari herself was the moon. the moon only shines as lumiously as it does because of the sun... hikari's lips lifted upward slightly as she began the process of getting ready for the day.
it was autumn, and the days were getting chillier and shorter. there would be less sunlight and more moonlight soon, the time of year where the moon was the strongest. it felt a bit funny that she thought about the moon a lot -- maybe it was because hikari herself felt attached to the moon in more than one way. it was amusing, and the thought kept running through her mind as she changed into a lengthly, flowing pale cream skirt and matching tank top -- if a person looked from afar, then it would have looked like a simple one piece dress. and of course, no girl's attire was complete if not for simple accessories. so, hikari had taken her yellow hairband gently into her hands and placed it on her head, separating her long bangs and the rest of her hair. to accompany that, she wore a white choker with a small yellow moon right in the middle of the front.
the sound of an item vibrating filled the calm, silent atmosphere of hikari's hotel room as she motioned over to the bedside table, her cell phone lain there plainly in view and shaking with each of the vibrations it made. picking it up, she looked at the number and name on the screen and replied with a quiet, monotonous voice. "hello?" of course, the only person to bother her this early in the morning was her manager -- the pesky and untimely man he was. "ah, good morning hikari-sama! i assume you had a good night's rest?" sakagami benjiro sounded so enthusiastic over the phone, and it made hikari flinch only the slightest bit. "yes, i slept fine, benjiro-han... do you have business with me this morning, to be calling at such a time?" hikari spoke with a poise elegance, standing straight and with an arm draped across her body. her midnight blue hair remained in a beautiful mess behind her.
"ah, yes -- it seems that the recital of yours tonight had to be rescheduled to monday evening. the board director and one of your family's employees had gotten into a predicament..." oh, so that was it. she sighed inaudibly and nodded into her phone. "i see, thank you for notifying me, benjiro-han. i will talk with you later." she brought the phone done from her ear and heard the raspy sound of benjiro's goodbye cut off. while she was standing there, she took hold of her white handbag and slipped her phone in, and looked at the contents inside. she checked that her bare necessities were there and she smiled softly. it was time to go out.
hikari stepped out of her hotel room with her long hair flowing behind, her handbag on her arm and mind astray. she was already thinking of things to do today, and how the slight feeling of stress she was feeling last night had gone away -- her recital was moved two days ahead, which meant two extra days of mere vacation. it was a two in one, essentially -- benjiro-han had his recital, and hikari could spend two wonderful days by herself and with... i have to find her... but, ah, would that make me seems... suspicious? hikari eyes glanced around the streets, squinting through the fog as she tried to see anyone with a mess of blonde hair on their head and with large, piercing violet eyes. it was someone she yearned for.
oh... is that her over there? her view had then found a glimpse of blonde somewhere quite a ways away from her current position. it was time to play it natural and safe -- if she appeared out of no where, would this other person be surprised to see her yet happy or surprised and disappointed that it was her out of all people in the world? although she thought both positively and negatively -- moreso the latter than the former -- hikari stepped forward into the dense mist and raised an arm over her head. "mayu, over here," the young musician spoke up with a voice loud enough for her to hear, hopefully, and her hand waved slightly as it stayed in the air. there was a small, delicate smile on hikari's face, and it stayed there.
